Do I need a referral from my GP?
No, you do not need a referral, however, in order to get a Medicare rebate ($85.20 per session, 10 sessions per year) you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP and provide this prior to your initial appointment.
How much does each session cost?
$190 per counselling appointment. A Medicare rebate is available for $85.20 when referred under a Mental Health Care Plan for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Clients are responsible for the gap payment of $104.80 per session.
Do you offer Telehealth counselling?
Yes, I offer phone or video counselling. You will receive a link and invoice at the time of booking.
Payment
You will be provided with an invoice at the time of scheduling your appointment, and a receipt once your session fee has been paid.
How long do the sessions go for?
Sessions are approximately 55 minutes each,
