Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, you do not need a referral, however, in order to get a Medicare rebate ($87.25 per session, 10 sessions per year) you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP and provide this prior to your initial appointment.

$195 per counselling appointment. A Medicare rebate is available for $87.25 when referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Clients are responsible for the gap payment of $107.75 per session.

Do you offer Telehealth counselling?

Yes, I offer both phone and video counselling. You will receive a link and invoice at the time of booking. Some clients prefer therapy without travel or from the privacy of their home.

You will be provided with an invoice at the time of scheduling your appointment, and a receipt once your session fee has been paid.

How long do the sessions go for?

Sessions are approximately 55 minutes each.

Yes, I offer in person face to face counselling in Newcastle, NSW. I am located within Offices on Hudson at 8 Hudson Street, Hamilton NSW 2303. Hamilton is a centrally located suburb near the centre of Newcastle.
